Yes. The PF20 supports backup power using 4 D-size batteries, allowing scheduled feeding to continue during a power interruption. Batteries are sold separately.
Are the parts washable?
The food container, dispensing components and feeding bowl can be removed for cleaning. Do not immerse or rinse the feeder base, lid, power adapter or electronic components.
